Welcome to Happy Valley Calisthenics Club
Calisthenics is a uniquely Australian sport that blends dance, gymnastics, singing, acting, and apparatus work into one exciting and creative performance art. At Happy Valley Calisthenics Club, we celebrate this vibrant sport in a warm, family-oriented environment that’s been nurtured by the same family for nearly 40 years.
Founded by Miss Tina, with her mother Nanny Norma as the club’s original seamstress, Happy Valley is now led by Principal Coach Miss Emma-Kate. This legacy of care and expertise continues to shape a club culture where every member is valued and encouraged to shine.
Our club is built on the values of confidence, teamwork, and respect. We keep class sizes small to ensure every member receives personal attention, grows in skill and self-belief, and feels truly part of a supportive team. Whether performing on stage or training in class, our members build lasting friendships and learn to lead with kindness and pride.
While we do compete, our focus is on the enjoyment of calisthenics and the personal growth it fosters. Older members are encouraged to mentor younger ones, and everyone has the opportunity to take part in team performances, skill exams, and solo, duo, or graceful girl competitions.
We take care of the extras—no sewing, no expensive accessories; costumes, props, and presentation are all handled by the club (fees applicable), so families can simply enjoy the experience.
